Common questions.
Still unsure? Call 647-891-2594 and ask Avtar directly.
Should I get a tank or tankless water heater?
It depends on your household's hot water demand and budget. Conventional tanks are less expensive upfront and simpler to service. Tankless systems cost more to install but deliver hot water on demand, never run out, and last significantly longer. We'll help you weigh the trade-offs for your specific situation.
Do you remove and dispose of the old water tank?
Yes. Old unit removal and disposal is included with every installation.
How long does water tank installation take?
A conventional tank swap typically takes 2 to 3 hours. Tankless installations that require new gas lines or venting changes may take longer. We'll give you a realistic estimate when we quote.
What types of whole-home humidifiers do you install?
We install bypass and fan-powered humidifiers that connect directly to your HVAC system — delivering consistent humidity throughout the home rather than requiring multiple portable units. We also provide seasonal startup and shutdown service each year.
How long do conventional tanks last compared to tankless?
Conventional tanks typically last 8 to 12 years. Tankless units can last 20 years or more with proper maintenance. The longer lifespan helps offset the higher upfront cost over time.
